Meet elizabeth

I believe that your body is resilient.

Every cell in your body is doing the best it can with what it’s got!

I will help you decipher what your body needs to heal. Digestive issues, food cravings, and weight fluctuations are common signs of both physical and emotional imbalances in the body. The root of these issue can be linked to a myriad of factors, including nutrient deficiencies, movement, sleep, stress, emotions, habits, inflammation, chronic dieting, food sensitivities, toxins, heavy metals, genetics, dysbiosis (imbalance of “good" and "bad" bacteria).

Through this thorough approach, you will learn so much more about your body than you thought possible!

What does food mean to me?

Food is so much more than just “fuel.” As a proud second generation Chinese Cambodian American and a child of refugees, food was a love language growing up in my household. Food is a way I connect with my heritage and so I understand how vital it is to honor your cultural food practices in the work we do together.

How did I get here?

As a patient myself, I have felt unheard by doctors and given limited treatment options for my health issues. I have been told generic advice without much exploration of alternative therapies or resources which left me frustrated with the medical field.

The disappointment that I experienced as a patient is shared by many of my clients that are seeking more answers. I have worked in many conventional healthcare settings as a dietitian and have seen how one-size approaches and quick-fixes often negatively impact mental and physical health. To have meaningful change, your relationship with food needs to be addressed in conjunction with any nutritional concern you have. This is fundamental to my practice that sees you as a whole person, not just your diagnosis or body size.

My Approach

Gone are the days of restrictive diet plans. Time to tune-in to your body’s cues and tailor your diet to meet your unique needs.
